5 Hour Adjuster Update Course

Goal of class is to provide Claims Adjusters under 620 and 520 Florida Licensed Insurance Adjuster legislative, law and regulation updates. This course is specific to Florida carrier or independent licensed insurance adjusters. Students will explore regulatory awareness, licensing requirements, adjuster code of ethics, duties of licensed personnel, disciplinary and industry trends and anti-Fraud laws.Key concepts of understanding Florida Statutes surrounding Adjusters Continuing Education requirements including the 5 hour Update Course.Additionally the students will review updated case law that is significant to the claim handing process.  Classroom Setting.

Complex Claim Investigation I

This one day course is designed to enchnage the field and desk adjsuter's investigaion of a complex claim.  Florida Approved Continuing Education Courses wll be presented. Each student will gain tools and advanced knoweldge of investigation techniquest required by insurance carriers in today's claim climate. Training  requires Written, Practical and Oral proficiency to be qualified as Red Flag Qualified.

Adjusters will demonstrate their ability to crictically analyze causation, identified subrogation and perform complex recorded statements.    

FL CE Courses include 2 hours Law (Anti Fraud Training) and 1 hour Ethics.

Annual Anti-Fraud Training

Goal of class is to provide Claims Adjusters, Underwriters and Agents with and understanding fraudulent trends and scheme in Property & Casualty Insurance Claims and Underwriting Processes. Students will explore FS 626.989, FS626.9891 while evaluating their role as insurance adjusters and underwriters.Key concepts of understanding Florida Statute that defines “fraudulent insurance act” as defined in FS 626.989 and the actions by individuals that would rise to meet the definition.Additionally the students will review the trending 2013-2014 schemes and trends of insurance fraud in Property & Casualty Insurance. Review of communication of suspected activity information per FS 626.9891 will be conducted. Students will gain knowledge and understanding their requirements to report suspected fraudulent activity through the insurance company designated special investigation units.
